This park comprises glasshouses, computerized fountains, waterfalls, a wilderness and themed gardens featuring different coloured plants and sounds. An impressive park for far off, it gets better the closer you get to it, and if you plan to spend a weekend away in Paris, make sure you rent Paris accommodation or Paris apartments nearby.

The paved area by the fountains is perfect for walking around the park and really getting a feel for the postmodern design which is so characteristic of this park. The South edge of the lawn is bounded by a monumental canal — the “Jardin des Métamorphoses” — composed of an elevated reflecting pool that reaches through granite guard houses, lined by a suspended walkway. On the North side are two sets of small gardens: the six “Serial Gardens”, each with a distinct landscape and architectural design, and a “Garden in Movement” that presents wild grasses selected to respond at different rates to wind velocity. A 630-meter diagonal path cuts through the park, which constantly changes in its nature.

In addition to this, the park is home to a moored gas balloon operated by the Eutelsat company, which allows visitors to rise above the Parisian skyline. The balloon is filled with 5,500 cubic meters of helium. It is 32 meters high and has a diameter of 22 meters. It is moored to the ground with a hydroelectrically-activated cable. It can rise to an altitude of 150 meters and has a carrying capacity of 30 adults, or 60 children. The balloon provides a view of the Champ de Mars, the River Seine, Basilica of the Sacré Cœur and the Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral.

Finally, a bit of history. The park was created on the site of the old Citroën factory, built in 1915 by André Citroën on the banks of the Seine, operating it until it closed in the 1970s.

In Las Vegas there are a number of entertainment options that do not include gambling. There are a wide variety of shows that feature well-known and talented performers. To make your choices of places to go and things to do, I have put together a list of the ten other things you can do in Las Vegas besides gambling and where you can do them.

Recommended Other Thing To Do: Ok, this one is a dead giveaway, but I’m going to say it anyway….get married!

As you can see, gambling is not all there is to do in Las Vegasso before you give all your money to the slot machines, spend some of it really enjoying the wide-ranging activities next to the bright lights of the casinos.

Thinking of a vacation to Mexico but want to go somewhere different off the beaten path? Here are some ideas for a vacation in mexico that will take you beyond Cancun or Puerto Vallarta.

Isla Mujeres, located only eight miles across the bay from Cancun, is a tiny island only five miles long and about a half mile wide. Translated, Isla Mujeres means the “Island of Women”. No, it is not a hidden commune filled with females but it is a charming and tranquil fishing village. It has shops, restaurants and about a dozen or so small hotels where you can rest your head.

With a downtown area consisting of only four or five blocks, this makes Isla Mujeres everything that the big tourist areas in Mexico are not. Surrounded by white sand beaches on all sides, snorkeling and scuba diving are popular in the crystal clear turquoise waters. Kayaks, snorkeling gear, and other water toys can be rented on the beach and fishing, sailing and even swimming with dolphins is available here. Isla Mujeres has something for every one of all ages and is a great place to explore the natural wonders of Mexico.

Another great vacation in mexico that is often overlooked is Cabo San Lucas. Its location at the southern tip of the Baja peninsula, gives it an ideal climate of about 78 degrees year round. Once a tranquil fishing village, Cabo has evolved into a wonderful spot for vacationers but remains small and charming. Small however does not mean boring, there are many things to do in Cabo.

Deserted beaches, on both the Pacific coast and along the shoreline of the Sea of Cortez, make Cabo San Lucas an awesome beach vacation. If you enjoy water sports, boating, marlin fishing, horseback riding and golf, you will enjoy Cabo. Golf has become very popular in the area and there are five championship golf courses already here and more on the way.

Cabo San Lucas is a perfect mexico vacation spot for those looking for something different. It can be quiet and relaxing for a romantic getaway or it can be a place where you will keep going till you drop with the whole family.

Another one of Mexico’s jewels is Tulum. You will find Tulum about an hours drive south of Playa Del Carmen on the Mayan Coast. Tulum is best known for its Mayan ruins. Small but impressive, the ruins are perched high on top of limestone cliffs that offer a breathtaking view below of the sparkling Caribbean and a romantic coastline.

The little town of Tulum is slowly expanding and there are several very good local restaurants and a few on the beach in the smattering of hotels in the area. Accommodations range from five star boutique hotels to rustic cabanas.

Tulum offers the perfect mixture of tranquility, relaxation and seclusion but still gives you the option of exciting nearby attractions. Day trips in the area are always a good choice and the Eco-tourism experiences are limitless.

It is a much slower paced vacation and a combination of 3-4 days in Playa Del Carmen and 2-3 days in Tulum is a great way to combine the best of both worlds in these treasured spots.

Whether you wish to learn Spanish because you are going out with a Spaniard or you’re just passionate about the language. Any reason is a great reason for you to learn Spanish.

However, the underlying desire for learning the language, will determine how you should go around learning Spanish and also to which degree. One example would be a person who is interested in learning the Spanish language for business purposes. That person should be aiming for a more advanced level of Spanish than someone with a need to learn “Survival Spanish” for a trip to a Spanish speaking country.

One important fact to memorize when you approach language learning is: ’Do not rush yourself’. You can`t learn to run, before learning to walk. Learning Spanish is no different ,Spanish lessons cannot be rushed and should be enjoyed because you’re learning in a steady sequence.

On a side not: you need to learn mexican spanish as a part of your overall training strategy

Don’t skip through these important steps and learn too fast without letting the information settle. If you manage your time well and learn the basics, you shall succeed quicker than you ever thought possible.

It is very important for you to remain motivated throughout the learning process. Every person is unique in his/her own way; we have different strong and weak points , that’s why we absorb information differently , regardless you need to be motivated or the process will be long and hard and it doesn’t have to be.

You should use your most preferred methods to learn Spanish easily through bi-lingual books, audio material, immersion programs etc. It’s hard to choose, but a lot of people believe that the best way to learn Spanish it to attend to actual classes.

As well, you might want to take Spanish lessons, if you have difficulties organizing your time. In addition to the benefits of interactive learning, the structured Spanish lessons come with a structured time frame.

You can also consider private lessons, which will offer you 1 on 1 attention. A great tutor gives you confidence, because you have someone who can answer any Spanish related question right on the spot. You will get an amazing chance to polish your pronunciation while you’re at it.

Expectations when it comes to learning Spanish are different from one person to another. While some desire to learn Spanish quickly, but for some it’s a gradual process in which they want to take note of every grammatical particularity, because they enjoy the process so much.

Nowadays, due to technological advancement, you can actually learn Spanish on the internet. You can also enrol yourself in an online class.

There are no bad choices when it comes to learning Spanish. Simply pick your learning style and stick to it. You can make it happen! .

I’ve been what you’re going through. I made shy steps toward discovery of this seducing, dynamic language. After a considerable amount of searching I was able to find the method which suited me perfectly. I even managed to convince some of my friends to learn Spanish with me.

I found the right tool for myself. All of a sudden learning Spanish turned from tedious and complex into something pleasant and easy to do. You should not give up either. I’ve been there before. Just remember that without pain, there is no gain. Trust me, its worth your efforts. Hold on tight and you will taste sweet victory!.

Known as the pearl of the Caribbean the island of Margarita has emerging as the next property hotspot and a great investment opportunity for the clever shrewd overseas property investor.

Considering the current economic climate Isla Margarita is positioned one step ahead of the game and keeps its economy going from strength to strength with its oil reserves that the mainland country has in abundance. It’s economic strength continually increasing as oil prices rise.

Because of the current low amount of top quality accommodation the Caracola Beach and Spa Resort is set to lead the way for Margarita properties and set the benchmark for others to follow.

Those who invest in Caracola at these early stages will benefit from the continued increase in tourism that visits the island each year which is fuelling the property market.

Out of all the emerging market overseas property for sale Margarita is very extremely as currently real estate prices on the island of Margarita are lower than other Caribbean destinations, so acting now you have provides the potential to good capital growth which is also backed up by a guaranteed minimum rental return of 7% making this development an excellent hands’ off investment opportunity.

The development has 1244 one and two bedroom apartments with the majority having beachfront views.

The resorts facilities will be unrivalled by any other development on the island focussing on relaxation and leisure. Whether you are looking to relax on the beautiful Caracola beach, take a relaxing massage in the spa or have a meal in one of the four restaurants. The resorts facilities have something for everyone.

Caracola Beach & Spa Resort is due to be a 5 star development surrounded by natural beauty and scenery of dramatic lush mountain peaks which give way to a palm fringed beach. The island has a superb tropical and sunny climate with very little variation in temperature throughout the year. There is no rainy season like a lot of tropical locations and rainfall is usually brief and mostly occurring during the night time. One further benefit that Isla Margarita unlike some other Caribbean islands is that it is the only island outside the hurricane belt.

Now a lot of international property investors are now starting to consider Caracola Beach and Spa Resort as a very attractive opportunity for their future investment strategies.

Known for its “chicness” since forever, Paris bars certainly maintain an air of chicness in its clubs. In the 1960’s Paris was the place to be when it came to nightlife and it provided a fantastic night club scene for the party goers of Paris. Le Bus Palladium in Pigalle is one of these classic, everlasting clubs that has reinvented itself and still caters for the party goers of today.

Now known as “Le Bus”, the club was reinvented in September 2006 and can be found at 6 Rue Pierre Fontaine, 75009 in the centre of this fantastic city. If you are looking for a great night out with your friends, this is certainly a place to visit. The relaunch saw the appearance of old celebrities who used to frequent the place, amongst them, the Beatles.

Another must visit in the French capital is the wonderful party boat “Batofar”. This red beauty is moored opposite 11 quai François-Mauriac, 13th and plays mainly hip hop music. Inside you will find a splendid array of international DJs, rappers and alternative music lovers, making this destination a really good night out. What is more, go there after a lovely rest in your apartment in Paris or hotels Paris in Summer, and you’ll find that the terrace is open from 7pm in the summer.

Furthermore, would you believe it, Paris has got a club called… “Lizard Lounge” – the meaning of which is rather negative; “A habitué of cocktail lounges” but this doesn’t mean the club isn’t good, in fact, just as in the Lizard Lounge in most of the cities of England, this club is literally bouncing with the number of people who go there on a Friday night. After setting off from your central accommodation Paris, you will find the club at 18 rue du Bourg-Tibourg, 4th, the club opens from 4pm-2am daily. This club is spread over three levels and full to the brim of trendy people and trendy djs. Local disc jockeys play here where they can be found in the basement or DJ bar mixxin’ it up.

The most talked about club in Paris at the moment – it has appeared in numerous magazines, programmes and papers; “Paris Paris” is where the party’s at in 2008 and for the foreseeable future… This really hip club is situated at 5 avenue de l’Opéra, 1st and open from 11pm-5am Tue-Sat. Unbelievably admission is free but they make up for this by charging roughly €10. Although getting in is easier said than done, once in, you’re immediately part of the electricity of the crowd, who dance to the hip hop and rock crews battling it out with iPods…

While being one of the smaller countries in Europe, England has a huge amount of diversity that any traveller to its shores will surely testify. Whilst not the largest of countries, exactly where to base your stay often raises a bit of a dilemma for many but the Yorkshire area has much to offer even the most discerning visitor.

Most people consider Yorkshire to be an industrial county full of factories and jammed full of houses for the workers but nothing could be further from the truth and South Yorkshire is vastly different to what you can imagine.

The mining in the north and east of Yorkshire has long since quietened down and it is doubtful whether the mining activities will ever get even close to the heyday of there former levels. Sheffield is still world renowned for its exquisite silver canteens of cutlery.

Situated partially in the historic Peak District National Park a visit to South Yorkshire will give you unprecedented access to this, one of the world’s most famous and largest national parks, which has enough to keep even the most active of holiday makers busy for a lifetime.

Activities in the park include rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking and camping, bird watching and so much more, you can even take a balloon flight across the peaks or even a helicopter ride if you enjoy flying or don’t mind digging a little deeper in you pockets for a memorable experience that will probably stay with you for the rest of your life.

More Peak District Tourist Information can be found here.

If the more sedate pace of life is more to your liking then the area is also steeped in heritage and culture.

Cannon Hall museum and gardens are well worth a visit if you like to see the history of the country. The hall is a country house museum and was the home of the Spencer family. Exhibits in the museum include fine art, furniture and collections of glassware, and if you have an interest in anything of a military nature you’ll also be pleased to find a couple of regimental museums housed here as well.

If you like the hustle and bustle of city life, visit Sheffield, one of the largest cities in England. You could consider Sheffield as the London of the north as it has the largest theatre complex outside London, and is home to the world renowned Crucible and Lyceum theatres.

If you’re thinking of staying in Sheffield visit the Artful Lodger website for Sheffield property to rent.

Are you planning a trip to the Romantic capital of Europe? Planning to don a beret, grow a thin wispy beard and learn a bit of the lingo? First of all, it’s important to book that perfect Paris apartment or Paris hotels and then tackle the menu… Here is a guide to how to straighten out those tricky words and phrases that confuse the non speaking, but French food loving travelers out there like me…

First of all you’re thinking about ordering the basics. Paris is known for preparing fantastic appetizers and you need to know the best things on the menu. Why not go for the “fruits de mar” or shellfish? My favourite is “oeuf en meurette” which is egg poached in red wine. Other popular first course dishes in the country’s capital are of course, “fromage” (cheese) and this can either be eaten as a starter or desert, and lots of main courses come with the stuff too! It is imperative to try some of Paris’ “galette” which is a delicious round flat cake of flaky pastry, potato pancake or buckwheat savory crêpe…

Secondly, lets carry on with meat. Because we all love a bit of meat. Lets face it, Paris is the best place to find restaurants which serve exquisite meat, including “Le Bistrot d’à Côté Flaubert” which serves fine quality meat including lamb from the Pyrenees in a crumble crust with garlic shortbread biscuit and a bowl of smooth purée. Mouth watering no? So, what do you need to know when you’re looking for that all important dish on the menu that is going to make your night? Firstly, the ones to be more wary of; “andouillette” which is sausage made from pig’s offal, “boudin noir/blanc” is black blood / white pudding, “tripoux” dish of sheep offal and sheep feet, “ris de veau” veal sweetbreads. The tastiest dishes; “bistec” steak, “contre-filet” sirloin steak, “bourguignon” beef cooked Burgundy style, with red wine, onions and mushrooms, “entrecôte” beef rib steak, “cochon de lait” suckling pig, “gigot d’agneau” leg of lamb, “aiguillettes” thin slices of duck breast, “pintade” guinea fowl, “supreme” fillets of chicken in a cream sauce, and “poulet” – chicken. In general, these dishes are more appealing to your average Brit, who normally runs a mile from animals’ insides.

Finally, you want to order your desert right? “Bavorois” is a delicious moulded cream dessert, “clafoutis” is batter filled with fruit, “crème chantilly” is sweetened whipped cream and “fromage blanc” is smooth cream cheese. Hopefully once you’ve got the flights, accommodation in Paris and foody lingo sorted out, you’ll be on your way to the perfect romantic trip in Paris…!
